This includes those ladies who served in the ATS, Land Army and regular forces – everyone on an equal basis. Each name will be written on an individual paper poppy and added to a very special carpet of remembrance over the remembrance weekend. And every name on every individual poppy will be added to a memorial roll of honour and every name will be read aloud over the weekend, bring remembrance alive.
This special project will travel around the country once we have secured enough names to go on individual poppies. Local school children are making these so please support this initiative and we are telling young people about remembrance as well.
